DUO Tech MBAL

The software is designed for modeling the hydrodynamics of reservoir systems for oil, gas, and gas-condensate fields. The modeling is based on the principle of material balance of liquid/gas in the reservoir collector
DUO Tech MBAL can be used both as a standalone material balance model for forecasting calculations and as part of the overall integrated model DUO Tech IMA, serving as a material balance model or pressure drop curves. This flexibility allows for comprehensive analysis and optimization of reservoir performance in various operational scenarios
Functional capabilities
  1. Construction of SingleTank and MultiTank models considering inter-layer flow
  2. Development of Decline Curve models for production forecasting.
  3. Execution of multi-variant adaptive calculations based on actual pressure data and fluid production rates (FPR), along with permeability adaptation based on inter-layer flow to select the most satisfactory option.
  4. Assessment of hydrocarbon production profiles, as well as the required injection profile of liquid or gas to maintain optimal reservoir pressure for efficient field development.
  5. Incorporation of various types of hydrocarbon fluids (gas condensate, gas, oil) and water.
  6. Calculation of hydrocarbon production levels based on inflow equations for wells.
  7. Automated adjustment of inflow based on well measurement results.
  8. Presentation of calculation results in both graphical and tabular formats.
