The software enables the modeling of fluid characteristics under both reservoir and surface conditions, which is essential for the design and optimization of oil, gas condensate, and gas fields. It supports the analysis of phase behavior, fluid properties, and their variations with pressure and temperature, ensuring accurate predictions for production and processing operations
DUO Tech PVT provides essential functionalities for the analysis of pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) relationships of reservoir fluids. It allows for the characterization of fluid properties, phase behavior, and the determination of critical parameters such as bubble point, dew point, and viscosity under varying conditions. This module is integral for accurate reservoir modeling and enhances the overall performance of the DUO Tech IMA suite by ensuring that fluid properties are consistently applied across different modules
Functional capabilities
  1. Calculation of fluid properties under various conditions, including pressure and temperature variations.
  2. Generation of tables for physicochemical properties of fluids, such as gas content in oil, phase densities, volume coefficients, and phase viscosities using a comprehensive set of correlations.
  3. Assessment of solid components based on the presence of substances like salts, hydrates, and asphaltenes (ASPO).
  4. Evaluation of the properties of different components and their interactions using industry-standard methodologies.
  5. Modeling of emulsions to understand their behavior in reservoir conditions.
  6. Importing data from experimental studies, including Constant Volume Depletion (CVD), Constant Composition Expansion (CCE), and separation tests.
  7. Presentation of calculation results in both graphical and tabular formats for easy interpretation and analysis.
